Temple Man – PARSHA TERUMAH (Offering)

By Matthew Moshe Nolan

Terumah – Offering – Shemot 25:1 – 27:19

Malaki 3:8 Will a man rob YHWH? You have robbed me. But you say, wherein have we robbed thee? In Ma’aseh and TERUMAH. You are cursed with a curse.

Disease is a curse not a blessing. Devarim 28 lists the blessings, where there’s blessing there’s no disease.

Shemot 25:1 And YHWH spoke to Moshe, saying, 2 Speak to the children of Yisrael, that they bring Me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his lev you shall take My offering….

26:1 Moreover you shall make the Tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cheruvim of skilled work shall you make them.

I Corinthians 3:16 Know you not that you are the Beit HaMikdash of YHWH, and that the Ruach of YHWH dwells in you?

YHWH Our Healer.

Shemot 15:26 If you will diligently listen to the voice of YHWH your Elohim, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His mitzvoth, and shomer all His chukim, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Mitzrim: for I am YHWH-Rophechah.

In the Hebrew text there are names for about eighty different body parts, but no word for the body as a whole as we think of it today.  The word that comes the closest to meaning physical body is the word gevviyah which occurs thirteen times in the Tanakh. On eight occasions it refers to a dead body, on three occasions to a body seen in a vision or a dream, and on only two occasions to living bodies as the potential subjects of starvation or slavery (Ber 47:18,Neh 9:37).

This is hugely significant: The virtual absence of the word body in the Tanakh shows that health is not presented there primarily in physical terms, unlike today!

If the desire for well-being is confined to the body then the result is likely to be not health, but ill health.

In the Tanakh full biblical health equals SHALOM – the presence of wholeness, completeness and well being in all spheres of life whether physical, mental and spiritual, or individual, social and national.

(Shoftim 6:24)  Then Gidyon built an altar there to YHWH, and called it YHWH-SHALOM

  • In the Brit Chadasha when Yeshua healed people the Greek word hu gies is used. In the LXX Hu gies is used to translate Shalom.
  • The Greek word Eirene used in the Brit Chadasha in terms of harmony and wholeness in regard to relationships also is used in the LXX to translate Shalom.
  • Gk, Soteria > Verb Sozo – salvation = LXX Shalom.

Six characteristics of biblical health are:

  1. Well-being
  2. Tzadekah
  3. Obedience
  4. Strength
  5. Fertility
  6. Longevity

Shalom health is intricately connected to the secrets of the Holy of Holies (kodesh kodashim) in Solomon’s Temple. The temple was designed in the form of a body.  The body of the man who is Jacob, the Levitical High Priest and King Messiah Yeshua, the three-fold man – perfect health and healing.

Beresheeth 28:10 And Yaakov went out from Beer-Sheva, and went toward Charan. 11 And he came upon a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and used them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12 And he dreamed, and see a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to the shamayim: and see the heavenly malachim of Elohim ascending and descending on it. 13 And, see, YHWH stood above it, and said, I am YHWH Elohim of Avraham your abba, and the Elohim of Yitzchak: the land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your zera; 14 And your zera shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall break out abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in you and in your zera shall all the mishpachot of the earth be blessed. 15 And, see, I am with you, and will keep you in all the places where you are going, and will bring you again into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to you. 16 And Yaakov awoke out of his sleep, and he said, Surely YHWH is in this place; and I knew it not. 17 And he was afraid, and said, How awesome is this place! This is no other place but Beit Elohim, and this is sha-ar ha shamayim. 18 And Yaakov rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillow, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Beth-El: but the name of that city was called Luz first. 20 And Yaakov vowed a vow, saying, If the Word of Elohim will be with me, and will keep me in this derech that I go, and will give me lechem to eat, and clothing to put on, 21 So that I come again to my abba’s bayit in shalom; then shall the Word of YHWH be my Elohim: 22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be Elohim’s Bayit: and of all that You shall give me I will surely give the ma’aser to You.

The Model

  1. The Holy of Holies relates to the head
  2. The short stairway leading to the Holy of Holies to his neck/throat
  3. The Holy Place to his torso, and
  4. The Temple’s twin pillars named Jachin and Boaz to his legs.

The relation of his arms, hands and feet also appears in the PowerPoint.

The holy of holies is the rock/pillow, being slightly elevated it required a ramp, or throat!

Temple Man

  • Jacob was on his way to Mesopotamia to find a wife and create a family, i.e., build a “house”
  • Jacob’s body as he slept at Bethel while using a stone for a pillow is the model for YHWH’s house.
  • Later, in Ruth 4:11, it is written that his two wives are the “builders” of the House of Israel.
  • Jacob, therefore, constructed a human temple, a house of twelve tribes, later these twelve, with hired Phoenician craftsmen, raised Solomon’s stone temple, the ‘House of El’
  • Therefore, the dream concerns the building of three houses:
  1. Israel’s (Jacob’s) – all twelve tribes.
  2. YHWH’s – Solomon’s stone Temple.
  3. Ephraim and Judah – In our day coming together as one house, in health, wealth and spiritual prosperity.

The High Priest as Temple Man

The Temple Floor Plan transformed into a figure of the Levite High Priest.

1. PRIESTS’ CELLS as a TURBAN1 west side – Gold and silver bullion, (I Kings 7:51), was likely stored here. These cells form the High Priest’s head cover or turban (Exodus 28).

9. PRIESTS’ CELLS, south and north sides – These are the arms. The entrances (I Kings. 6:8, Ezekiel 41:11), correspond to the onyx stones the High Priest wore on his left and right shoulders. Each was engraved with the names of six tribes, twelve names total (Exodus. 28).

2. TWO LARGE STARS – These are two 10-cubit tall cherubs of gold plated olive wood, (I Kings. 6:23, 28); they are the eyes within Temple Man’s head, while the head is the Holy of Holies2.

3. THE ARK of the COVENANT – This is a gold plated chest with a solid gold cover and two small cherubs (small stars). The Ark is his nose; and its poles, when attached to its long sides and drawn forward (I Kings 8:8), depict extended nostrils smelling the sweet smoke from the Incense Altar in the Holy Place.

4. STAIRWAY – A short staircase or ramp led from the Holy Place to a slightly elevated (six cubits) Holy of Holies. The stairway is his neck/throat and its top is his mouth.

5. INCENSE ALTAR – This small gold plated altar (I Kings 6:22) is national Israel’s heart, and its sweet-smelling smoke is the prayers and spiritual life of national ideal Israel (i.e., Israel as she should be).

6. TABLES OF THE SHOWBREAD – On these gold plated tables (I Kings 7:48) were bread and wine, symbolizing flesh and blood (i.e., the humanity of national Israel).

7. THE LAMP STANDS (I Kings 7:48, 49) – Their total number was 10 stands/menorahs x 7 stems each = 70 lights, relating to the 70 Israelites of Exodus 1:5 (Jacob’s offspring). This is national Israel as the light to the world, and the world is the 70 nations of Genesis 10. They may also symbolize Shabbat (the Sabbath) multiplied 10 times, implying a messianic age of worldwide rest.

8. THE PORCH, Portico or vestibule – This antechamber, the ulam, (I Kings 6:3, II Chronicles 3:4) corresponds to the human pelvis (hips) and, therefore, procreation through the male and female genitalia.

10.  TEN LAVERS – Five bronze water lavers were on the north and five on the south side, by the Porch. These signify the ten fingers of the hands. The lavers were for washing the blood off the sacrificial offerings, (I Kings 7:38; II Chronicles 4:6).

11. JACHIN, BOAZ – The large bronze pillars by the Porch were named Jachin and Boaz (II Chronicles.3: 17) and form Temple Man’s legs. These are two hybrid plants symbolizing Kings David and Solomon, war and peace.

12. SEA OF BRONZE, TWELVE BULLS – This was a huge basin full of water for the priests to wash their hands and feet (II Chronicles 4:2). It depicts the twelve tribes of Israel crossing the Red Sea. Its water symbolizes the God’s spirit and also his seed.

13. THE SACRIFICIAL ALTAR – This (II Chronicles. 4:1) forms Temple Man’s feet, while also symbolizing the metallic King Messiah’s feet and footstool, as was the custom of that time, (II Chronicles 9:18, Psalms 110:1).

Marriage and the Temple.

Adam and Eve, they were “joined together and became one flesh,” the Holy of Holies and the Holy Place are likewise joined together and become one house by a marriage covenant too; the Ten Commandments which are kept inside the Ark of the Covenant. Then the Ark with its contents was posted inside the Holy of Holies, the head/mind/face of Jacob, the Temple Man.

The Tabernacle and Temple were designed as the huppah or marriage tent between YHWH and His bride Israel. YHWH is the head, and dwells in the Holy of Holies and Israel is the wife and the body or torso. Known in the wilderness as the Tent of Meeting because YHWH would commune with His bride intimately.

I Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you to know, that the head of every man is Moshiach; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Moshiach is YHWH.

The Holy of Holies (the head) and Holy Place (the torso) together were meant to symbolize one holy body through a marriage initiated at Mount Sinai.

The Gate

The gate to heaven is the golden door of the Holy of Holies; the stairway behind the golden doors corresponds to Jacob’s ladder.

The Holy of Holies depicts heaven, while the Holy Place relates to the earth below. And these two places – heaven and earth – are head and body. (Explanation in audio teaching)  YHWH’s stairway or mans? (Babel).

Outward appearance

Appearance of the temple as a Cohen Ha Gadol: The exterior of Solomon’s temple was made of the brightest white limestone blocks. Their color corresponded to the High Priest’s ‘Garments of White’ worn on Yom Kippur. On the remaining days of the year, however, he wore the ‘Garments of Gold’ and these correspond to the Temple’s gold interior.

The Metals of the Mishkan/Bet Ha Mikdash and Yeshua

  • The metals of the Temple’s interior reveal the Metallic Messiah.
  • Their type and order parallel those of King Nebuchadnezzar’s metal statue, which symbolizes an unholy, secular messianic world ruler.
  • The interior of the Kadosh Ha Kedoshim, Kadosh place and porch are made with gold plating. The furniture outside is made of bronze. So Moshiach has a head, torso and pelvis of gold, but hands, legs and feet of bronze. His silver shoulders and arms relate to the silver plated walls ‘houses’ or ‘buildings’ (i.e., priestly cells) of I Chronicles. 29:4.
  • Nebuchadnezzar’s Metal Statue – The account of the huge metal statue that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon saw in a dream is found in chapter 2:1 – 35 of the Book of Daniel, but our focus is primarily on vv. 31 – 33.
  1. V. 31, This statue of four metals, has a head of gold, arms and chest of silver, belly and thighs of bronze,
  2. V. 32, legs of iron,
  3. V. 33, and feet of iron fused with baked clay. The clay counts as one with the iron so that he is made of four metals. However, Temple Man, (i.e. the Metallic Messiah), consists of only three metals: gold, silver, and bronze (or copper). These same three were also in the tabernacle of Moses’ time (Exodus 25:3, 31:4; 35:5).
  • The four metals of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue depict four successive world empires, symbolizing Man’s ungodly earthly rule until the Last Days (Daniel 2: 34, 35). And just as Man’s rule is summed in one man of various metals, so too YHWH’s forthcoming reign is portrayed by a single Metallic Messiah of three metals – the plurality of Elohim.

Corintyah Alef 6:19 Do you not know that your body is the Beit HaMikdash of the Ruach Hakodesh which is in you, which you have from YHWH, and you are not your own? 20 For you are bought with a price: therefore bring tifereth to YHWH in your body, and in your ruach, which are from Him.

You were bought with the currency of redemption, the body, the metal of Moshiach!

Ephisiyah 2:19 Now therefore you are no more gerim and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the Yisraelite kidushim, forming the household of vuvh; Beit Yisrael. 20 Beit Yisrael is built upon the foundation of the shlichim and neviim, Yahushua ha Moshiach Himself being the Rosh Pina; 21 In whom all the bayit being joined together 1 grows into a kadosh Beit HaMikdash in vuvh: 22 In whom you also are being built together as the Beit HaMikdash of Eloah through the Ruach.

Healing in your temple

YHWH’s perfect and permissive will – YHWH’s perfect will is not to heal you, IT’S THAT YOU WOULD NEVER GET SICK.

It’s time to get the ruach right.

Mishle 25:28 He that has no rule over his own ruach is like a city that is broken down without walls.

Corintyah Aleph 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Yochannan Gimel 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your chayim prospers.

In Shemot 15 and Devarim 28 YHWH promises us that if we obey his Mitzvoth we’ll be in health.

Devarim 34:7 And Moshe was one hundred twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, (nor his natural force gone/Latin Vulgate, “nec dentes illius moti sunt.” “his eye was not dim and his teeth stood firm.”

Moshe Rabainu had perfect dental health at 120 years of age.

Tehillim 103:3 YHWH who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

Disease can be the result of sin not dealt with.

Yeshayahu 5:13 Therefore My people are gone into exile, because they have no da’at.

Health begins with forgiveness

Vayikra 19:18 You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am YHWH.

There’s a direct relationship between lack of sanctification, disease and sin.

Spiritually rooted disease is the result of separation on three levels.

  1. Separation from YHWH, His Word and His Ruach.
  2. Separation from yourself, not judging yourself and no inward reflection.
  3. Separation from others “a man who isolates himself seeks his own” (be mindful of the feeling a pit in your stomach or the high octane pings when someone comes to mind)

Chronic fatigue syndrome

For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the body of the Master YHWH. 30 For this reason many are weak and sickly among you, and many are dead. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged (I Corinthians 11:29).

Paranoid schizophrenia

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).

Epilepsy

A dumb and deaf spirit, a familiar spirit.

Sleep disorders

Mishle 3:24 - you will lay down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

Tehillim 4:8 - I will lay you down in Shalom and sleep, for you O YHWH only make me dwell in safety.

Yeshua’s broken body is NOT for the forgiveness of sin!

Ivrim 9:22 – Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

Yeshayahu 53:5 – By His stripes we are healed.

We have disease amongst our people because we have eliminated one half of the provision of the Pesach Seder. Hagafen and La Motzi.

Get cleaned up first

You’re most probably struggling with the side effects of surgery or drugs rather than disease. I can’t minister to the side effects of drugs and have my Brethren wonder why you’re not getting healed. There is no healing from the side effects of drugs.

Anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs

  • These are designed to enhance your self-esteem. Lack of self-esteem comes from self-rejection, self-hatred and guilt and is caused by a father or mother’s lack of nurturing in childhood – it’s generational sin.
  • Anti-depressants are a cheap substitute for Ruach Ha Kodesh, who is called the Comforter.
  • Healing or disease management?
  • Recreation or disease management? Organs don’t heal, brain cells don’t heal, and I’m not going to waste our time trying to cry out for YHWH to heal those things.
  • They must be recreated supernaturally through intercession of Ruach Ha Kodesh, the laying of hands and oil.

Root problems. There’s a root problem that gives s.a.tan a right to your life.

Allergies

  • What about the land flowing with milk and honey? The problem is our uncircumcised hearts not milk, wheat, gluten and honey.
  • Find where the roots are, where the blocks are and make Teshuvah – again.

Non-menopausal osteoporosis

Mishle 17:22 A lev of simcha does tov like medicine: but a broken ruach dries the bones.

Laughter can strengthen the immune system.

Mishle 14:30 A sound lev is the chayim of the flesh: but jealousy the rottenness of the bones.

Cry Restore!

Yeshayahu 42:22 But this is a people robbed and plundered; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses: they are for a prey, and no one delivers them; for a plunder, and no one says, Restore!

  • Prayer and fasting.
  • Some just aren’t saved
  • Consequences – Improper care of the body
  • Our allotted time is fulfilled
  • Sin and sickness unto death “The wages of sin are death.”
  • Not being transparent and honest

Mishle 16:18 Pride goes before destruction and a haughty ruach before a fall.

Autism

Caused by vaccinations, rejection, rebellion and anger.

Parkinson’s disease

Hope deferred, abandonment and unresolved rejection.

Mishle 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

Mental illness

  • Demon possession or entry, vexing in the soul.
  • Psychology only addresses the mind.
  • Scripture teaches us that the Nefesh and the Ruach are distinctly different. (Ivrim 4:12) you can’t address the mind and expect healing in the soul.

The Tongue

Mishle 18:8 The words of a slanderer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. Bamidbar 30 – Remember, we can disavow words.

Liars.

People who lie are afraid of judgment, the root behind all liars is the fear of man, the fear of rejection, and they lack backbone and character.

Disease doesn’t come without reason.

Mishle 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so a curse without cause shall not come.

Fibromyalgia.

  • Pain in the fibrous tissues, muscles, tendons and ligaments and other connective tissues. Pain without swelling or inflammation as its cause.
  • Women need to be nurtured; it’s almost unheard of for men to get fibromyalgia.
  • From the medical journal: The condition occurs mainly in females…. primarily fibromyalgia syndrome is particularly and likely to occur in healthy young women who tend to be stressed, tense, depressed, anxious, and striving and driven.”
  • The spiritual root: Fibromyalgia often occurs in women who receive little or no nurturing by their fathers or husbands and have unresolved emotional issues.

Heart disease, heart attacks and high blood pressure

Luka 21:26. Men’s levavot failing them for fear.

Causes: fear and anxiety.

Timteous Bet 1:7 YHWH has not given us the ruach of fear, but of Power, ahava and a sound mind.

Do not fear for your provision; don’t fear for your children.

Aneurysms, strokes and varicose veins.

Causes: Anger and rage.

Thyroid

Stress, fear of death, anxiety and guilt disable the secretion of thyroxin.

Breast cancer

  • 10% is caused by mammograms. Nursing almost eradicates breast cancer in women; it’s what women were created to do.
  • Do you hate your mother? Did you honor your mama? Rivalry, bitterness between sisters and females in general.

Liver cancer

Mishle 7:21 With her many words she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she seduces him. 22 He goes after her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the prison; 23 Until a dart strikes through his liver; as a bird rushing to the trap that did not know it would take his chayim.

  • YHWH’s word says that the foolish man who lusts after women, who’s seduced by feminine lips will die by being struck in the liver.  It’s a warning against looking at seductive or lewd material.
  • The liver eliminates waste and toxins if you are inviting waste and toxins into your life, what do you expect.

Conclusion:

  • Positive YHWH is our Healer YHWH Shalom, YHWH Rophechah.
  • Apostolic anointing: No man can teach beyond what he knows. No man can lead anyone beyond where he himself has been led.
  • Rethinking my theology. Come and talk with me if you have any questions, I understand your fears. No one with fear can believe, and without believing, it’s impossible to receive any of YHWH’s gifts.

Manifestation of Tongues

  • Not speaking to men but Elohim
  • Speaking Sode
  • Bypassing my understanding
  • We can not enter into the Kadosh Ha Kedoshim, but Ruach HaKodesh in us, can, to edify us and build us up in YHWH’s glory so that we can more efficiently minister to one another.

Yaakov 5:14 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the shamashim of the congregation; and let them make tefillah over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of YHWH.
