Take an Accounting – PARSHA KI TISSA

By Matthew Moshe Nolan

The Shabbat

Shemot 31:12 And YHWH spoke to Moshe, saying, 13 Speak also to the children of Yisrael, saying, Truly My Shabbats you shall shomer: for it is an ot between Me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am YHWH that does set you apart.14 You shall shomer the Shabbat therefore; for it is kadosh for you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whoever does any work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days may work be done; but on the seventh is the Shabbat of rest, kadosh to YHWH: whoever does any work on the Shabbat day; he shall surely be put to death.16 Therefore the children of Yisrael shall shomer the Shabbat, to observe the Shabbat throughout their generations, for an everlasting brit. 17 It is an ot between Me and the children of Yisrael le-olam-va-ed: for in six days YHWH made the shamayim and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.

“Aseret HaDevarim” - The ten words/commandments.

Shemot 20:8 – #4 [Daled] – Remember Yom Ha-Shabbat, to shomer it as kadosh. 9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: 10 But the seventh day is the Shabbat of YHWH your Elohim: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male eved, nor your female eved, nor your cattle, nor your ger that is within your gates: 11 For in six days YHWH made the shamayim and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore YHWH blessed the Shabbat day, and set it apart.

Jews and Christians number them differently. In actuality, the first commandment is “I am YHWH your Elohim who brought you out of slavery in Egypt,” and the second is “You shall have no other Elohim besides Me. Do not make a graven image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above…”

Christians number them starting with ‘No other gods’ as the first, and ‘No graven images’ as the second, totally bypassing YHWH the Deliver of Israel. This serves an important purpose – first it aides replacement theology and second it separates the idea of praying to an image from the idea of the nature of Elohim (which is crucial if you’re a Catholic and pray to statues of Jesus and the saints – their interpretation is that the ‘no graven images’ commandment has to do with idol worship of OTHER gods, and therefore their practice doesn’t contradict this).

For Jews, not worshiping images of YHWH is an important part of not having other Elohim – YHWH can not be reduced to an image, so praying to an image of our own Elohim would be impossible – whatever we pray to in image form would, by definition, be a false god.

The other major difference is the fourth commandment. While Christians accept the concept of the Sabbath as being important, the teachings of the Church essentially put Sabbath-keeping on the list of things abolished even though it lacks scriptural support. The day of the week was changed – so the Sunday rest is itself directly against the commandment to remember the Sabbath day.

  • So, by removing the first commandment and splitting the second into two enables you to still have ten suggestions yet not have to recognize YHWH as the deliverer of His people (Israel), and it allows you to prostrate yourself before images of Jesus and Saints without any apparent transgression. Finally, by white washing over YHWH and Israel, the switch from Shabbat to Sunday becomes almost seamless –ALMOST.

ROMAN CATHOLIC CONFESSIONS

James Cardinal Gibbons, The Faith of our Fathers,

“But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify.”

“Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? I answer yes. Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day -Saturday – for Sunday, the first day? I answer yes. Did Christ change the day’? I answer no!

Catholic Virginian Oct. 3, 1947, p. 9, art. “To Tell You the Truth.”

“For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the [Roman Catholic] church outside the Bible.”

Martin J. Scott, Things Catholics Are Asked About (1927), p. 136.

“Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that worship should be changed from Saturday to Sunday…. Now the Church … instituted, by God’s authority, Sunday as the day of worship. This same Church, by the same divine authority, taught the doctrine of Purgatory long before the Bible was made. We have, therefore, the same authority for Purgatory as we have for Sunday.”

Peter R. Kraemer, Catholic Church Extension Society (1975), Chicago, Illinois.

“Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:

“1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe the Sunday, stultifies them in the eyes of every thinking man.

“2) We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith. Besides the Bible we have the living Church, the authority of the Church, as a rule to guide us. We say, this Church, instituted by Christ to teach and guide man through life, has the right to change the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday. We frankly say, yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she made many other laws, for instance, the Friday abstinence, the unmarried priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic marriages and a thousand other laws.

“It is always somewhat laughable, to see the Protestant churches, in pulpit and legislation, demand the observance of Sunday, of which there is nothing in their Bible.”

T. Enright, C.S.S.R., in a lecture at Hartford, Kansas, Feb. 18,1884.

“I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.’ The Catholic Church says: ‘No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.’ And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church.”

PROTESTANT CONFESSIONS

Canon Eyton, The Ten Commandments, pp. 52, 63, 65.

“There is no word, no hint, in the New Testament about abstaining from work on Sunday…. into the rest of Sunday no divine law enters…. The observance of Ash Wednesday or Lent stands exactly on the same footing as the observance of Sunday.”

Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, a paper read before a New York Ministers’ conference, Nov. 13, 1893, reported in New York Examiner, Nov.16, 1893.

“There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week…. Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament absolutely not. “To me it seems unaccountable that Jesus, during three years’ intercourse with His disciples, often conversing with them upon the Sabbath question . . . never alluded to any transference of the day; also, that during forty days of His resurrection life, no such thing was intimated.  “Of course, I quite well know that Sunday did come into use in early Christian history . . .. But what a pity it comes branded with the mark of paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!”

D. L. Moody, Weighed and Wanting (Fleming H. Revell Co.: New York), pp. 47, 48.

The Sabbath was binding in Eden, and it has been in force ever since. This fourth commandment begins with the word ‘remember,’ showing that the Sabbath already existed when God wrote the law on the tables of stone at Sinai. How can men claim that this one commandment has been done away with when they will admit that the other nine are still binding?”

YESHUA AND THE SABBATH

“Well Yeshua broke the Sabbath, He told a man to carry his bed, His disciples plucked grain and He worked at healing people on Sabbath too, so He sets our example!”

Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to weaken, or destroy the Torah, or the neviim: I have not come to weaken, or destroy, but to completely reveal it in its intended fullness. 18 For truly I say to you, Until the current shamayim and earth pass away, not one yud, or one nekudah shall by any means pass from the Torah, until all be fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore shall break, or weaken one of the least Torah commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the malchut ha shamayim: but whoever shall do and teach the commands, the same shall be called great in the malchut ha shamayim. 20 For I say to you, Except your tzedakah shall exceed the tzedakah of the Sophrim and Prushim, you shall in no case enter into the malchut ha shamayim.

RAV SHOLIACH SHAUL (Paul)

Acts 24:14 (NKJV) “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the Elohim of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.

Acts 25:8 (NKJV) while he answered for himself, “Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything at all.”

Unless Rav was lying here, he had to have been keeping the Shabbat.  In fact, he said that he didn’t teach anything other than what the “Old Testament” writers taught.

THE BRIT

The Disciples kept the seventh Day Shabbat 84 Times in the Book of Acts! Gentiles and the Jews were keeping the Shabbat together in the Synagogue:

Acts 18:4 – And he reasoned in the synagogue every Shabbat, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

The Shabbat was not for Jews only. James knew what day the Gentiles would be gathered.

Acts 15:19 – Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to YHWH 20 – But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollution of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood …. 21 – For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Shabbat day.

THE GOLDEN CALF

Shemot 32:1 And when the people saw that Moshe delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together to Aharon, and said to him, Get up, make us elohim, that shall go before us; for as for this Moshe, the man that brought us up out of the land of Mitzrayim, we do not know what has become of him. 2 And Aharon said to them, break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them to me. 3 And all the people broke off the golden earrings that were in their ears, and brought them to Aharon. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a golden calf: and they said, These be your elohim, O Yisrael, which brought you up out of the land of Mitzrayim. 5 And when Aharon saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aharon made a proclamation, and said, tomorrow is a moed to YHWH. 6 And they rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings, and brought shalom offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Consider the holidays you keep, they reveal the god you serve. Beware of familiar spirits, calling an idol by the name of Elohim and creating other un-biblical ways to worship Elohim. Even if “in your heart” you’re doing it unto YHWH. Declaring an idol’s holiday as ours, complete with ham and all the trimmings. Golden calf worship immediately disqualifies you as a Malki – Tzedik Priest, it disqualifies you from the Holy Place, and you’ll be trampled in the court of the gentiles (Rev 11).  We can’t take the KAVOWD glory of the risen son and mix it/syncretize it with the pagan holidays of the nations – even if the Catholic Church sanctioned it in 325CE.

  • Breaking the covenant. Delay in his coming led to the breaking in covenant.
  • Setting up a Feast day of their own choosing.
  • The Renewed Covenant. The third cup of Peach, Yeshua establishes a covenant – a renewing of the broken covenant.
  • Yirmeyahu 31:31 quoted in Ivrim lines out the covenant boundaries, and again, like in our Torah parasha, the only ones interested in upholding the covenant are the Priests – Levi in Shemot 32 and Malki – Tzedik in Gilyahnah 2.
  • A renewing of covenant ALWAYS forces people to make a choice.

HAFTARAH:  Melakim Alef 18:1 – 39.

I need to touch on this because of the Building/Apostolic nature of this teaching – Before the completion of an apostolic order, there are things that can no longer be tolerated in the assemblies of Moshiach, such as:

  • Enemies like Tobiah whom Nehemiah threw out of the house of YHWH because of the un-holy association and position given him by the priest Eliashib (Neh. 13).
  • Merchandising prophets such as the prophet Balaam that was hired to curse Israel (Numbers 22).
  • The spirit of Jezebel that seduces, deceives, and murders the true prophetic voice.

WARFARE – THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT

Yeshua instructed us to pray that the will of the Abba be done here on this earth, in this earthly realm. That’s why Jezebel hated true Nevi’m – they speak the will of YHWH into the earthly realm.

Jezebel’s end:

Melakim Bet 9:33 Yehu (King of 10 – Israel, son of Yehosophat) said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her dahm was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trampled her under foot. 34 And when he had come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a melech’s daughter.35 And they went to bury her: but they found no more than her skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands. Therefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of YHWH, which He spoke by His eved Eliyahu the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Yezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Isavel: 37 And the carcass of Isavel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Yezreel; so that they shall not even be able to say, This is Isavel.

When the dog’s ate the witch’s body what was left?……All that’s left is what manifests from that day on – Gilyahna (Revelation) 2:18.

  • Hands – represent an attempt to control the work of YHWH in assemblies.
  • Skull – represents mind control, the spirit steers and moves and controls. The spirit will control with sensuality and pick passive men (Ahab’s) to dominate them. A single-minded determination to have one’s way, no matter who is destroyed in the process, is a characteristic of the Jezebel spirit. (Vineyard).
  • Feet – represent an attempt to lead our steps.

This town needs to come out of agreement with this sprit. You have to be careful when praying for things that have obsessed you. Obsession is a controlling spirit – Jezebel’s spirit.

  • We’re in the palm of His hand and everywhere the sole of our feet treads is our – victory. Palm and sole – the Hebrew word is Kaph; it means power authority and destiny. Meaning your destiny is in Him and the power and authority goes wherever we walk. The Jezebel spirit will mess with your mind/skull try and control or change your destiny and hide your power and authority. Palm readers aren’t messing around! They’re trying to change your destiny.  S.a.tan is seeking to rob, kill and destroy. Ruach HaKodesh is your ticket to gaining back your power, authority and destiny.

NO INROADS

I’m in Moshiach, s.a.tan can not cross the bloodline! Yea but you can!

Ecclesiastes 10:8 He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoever breaks a hedge, a serpent shall bite him. 9 Whoever removes stones shall be hurt with them; and he that splits wood shall be endangered by it.10 If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he needs more strength: but chochmah is profitable to make right.11 Surely the serpent will bite without being charmed; then in vain is the charmer.

If you start messing around– you’ll fall into that pit. If you cross the bloodline, the boundary, you will be bit. Torah is the boundary stone; Yeshua’s blood is the boundary line. We overcome s.a.tan by the WORD of our testimony and the blood of the lamb. These keep us inside the boundary – neglecting either one leave us in a legal position to be bit – we broke a hedge.

THE PROMISE OF YHWH’S PRESENCE, THE GIFTS OF RUACH HAKODESH

Beg for YHWH’s CHEN (favor, grace) and RATZON (will)

Shemot 33:12 And Moshe said to YHWH, See, You said to me, Bring up (Olah) this people: and You have not let me know whom You will send (Shalach) with me.  Yet You have said, I know you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight. 13 Now therefore, I ask You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your Way (Yeshua), 2 that I may know You, that I may find favor in Your sight: and consider that this nation (goy) is Your people. 14 And He said, My Presence (Paniym) shall go with you, and I will give you rest. (Ruach HaKodesh is a sign of His favor) 15 And he said to Him, If Your Presence goes not with me, carry us not up there. (The talmidim could not carry out from Jerusalem until they had received His presence) 16 for how shall it be known here that I, and Your people have found favor in your sight? Except you go with us? So shall we be separated, I, and Your people, from all the nations that are upon the face of the earth. 17 And YHWH said to Moshe, I will do this thing also that you have spoken: for you have found favor in My sight, and I know you by name. 18 And Moshe said, I beg You, show me Your kavowd. 19 And He said, I will make all My tov to pass before you (ALL – His Presence consists of ALL HIS TOV – THE FULL OPERATIONS/MANISFESTATIONS – I Corinthians 12. and I will proclaim the Name of YHWH before you; And will show unmerited favor to whom I will, and will show rachamim to whom I will.

JOHN 1:17 (Yochannan ha Matbeel said:) “ Of his fullness we have received CHEN V CHEN – grace for grace. For the Torah was given through Moshe Rabainu, CHEN V EMET – grace and truth through the TZUR – the rock – Yahushua HaMoshiach”. 20 And He said, You cannot see My face: for there shall no man see Me, and live 21 And YHWH said, See, there is a place (Maqowm) by Me, and you shall stand upon a rock (Tzur): 22 And it shall come to pass, while My kavowd passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock (the broken part), and will cover you with My hand (metaphor for Yeshua) while I pass by (overlook your transgressions): 23 And I will take away My hand (take the punishment – the covering for you), THEN and you shall see My (Achowr) my back/TIME TO COME. But My face shall not be seen.

Asking for the gift – His presence – once received will bring the manifestations.

His presence is promised to Israel, here in our Parsha and to us scattered Israelites in the Brit Chadasha.

Ma’asheh Schlichim 2:38 Then Kepha said to them, Shuv, and be immersed every one of you in the Name of the Master-Yah 6 Yahushua ha Moshiach for the forgiveness of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh. 39 For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are far off (Ephraim), 7 even as many as YHWH our Eloah shall call.

YHWH doesn’t give nine gifts of His presence. He gives one gift – His presence! His presence empowers our ability to manifest all nine operations, plus energizing the five ministries in the synagogue. (Battery in a car).

YHWH’s presence is with us, we just need to learn how to activate it and manifest all nine operations. See V.7 below. Unless you and I believe in our ability to operate these manifestations they’ll never be witnessed.

Cor Aleph 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, my Yisraelite brothers, I would not have you ignorant.2 You know that you were gentiles, 9 carried away to and by those dumb idols, even as you were led.3 Therefore I want you to understand, that no man speaking by the Ruach of YHWH calls Yahushua a curse: and that no man can say that Yahushua is the Master YHWH, 10 but by Ruach Hakodesh. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Ruach. 5 And there are differences in callings, but the same Master YHWH. 6 And there are diversities of powers and manifestations, 1 but it is the same Eloah who works all and through all. 7 But the manifestation of the Ruach is given to every man to profit himself and all others. 8 For to one is given by the Ruach the word of chochmah; to another the word of da’at by the same Ruach; 9 To another emunah by the same Ruach; to another the gifts of healing by the same Ruach; 10 To another the working of nisim; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of the emet Ruach; to another divers kinds of languages; to another the interpretation of diverse languages: 11 But all these are done by that one and the same Ruach, dividing to every man individually as He will.

The nine manifestations are witness to receiving His presence. All nine manifestations, including the speaking and interpretation of tongues are from Torah and received after Shemot 33:12. All nine manifestations are available to all, but each person, because of his or her believing ability may have a special adeptness in one of the manifestations in the synagogue. If you’re hidden in the cleft of the rock – Yeshua, then you DO have the ability to manifest all nine of these – I believe in you!

So all nine so-called gifts are not gifts but evidences, results, effects of the manifestation of His presence produced by the working of the spirit because we’re hidden in the rock.

Why then, haven’t we been able to hold or operate the nine manifestations from the one gift?

Wineskins:

Luka 5:37 And no man puts new wine into old wineskins, since then the new wine will burst the wineskins, and be spilled, and the wineskins shall perish. 38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins; and both are preserved.

New wine is YHWH’s Kavod/glory/ Tiffereth.  It is associated with the building anointing in Sefer Nehemiyah, chapters 10 and 13.

Mishle 3:10: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Brethren have been crying out for the Holy Spirit/new wine or the building anointing but we’ve all been operating in an old wine skin.

  • Old wine skin – Brittle, tough, inflexible and has a set form.
  • The church, even our Messianic gatherings are old wine skins.

We’re crying out for new wine, but YHWH is crying out for new wine skins that can hold what he’s about to pour out.

The new wine skin is the five-fold ministry, the body has five vital organs.

Eph 4:11 And He gave some, shlichim; and some, neviim; and some, proclaimers; and some, roehim/pastors and morim/teachers/rabbbi’s.

This is the only skin/structure that can hold what YHWH is about to pour out.

  • The Body has five vital organs.
  • Renewing and a dying. Why? Old wine skins.
  • The Church scenario: A brother gets saved, he’s blubbering up front on the carpet, he’s jazzed about his newfound faith and told – be a pastor!  What about an evangelist, healer, miracle worker, administrator, helps, prophet, apostle?
  • Sunday church: A lot of Pastors are just frustrated evangelists. They give an excellent evangelistic message every week to the same bunch of people; it’s like fishing in a bucket! Then everyone gets saved! Then what? Well, let’s re-dedicate them!
  • Frustrated teachers: bogged down with helps, administration, establishing bible studies and home groups and counceling, that they don’t have the time to study and teach – get a 25 min teachy thing.
  • The Sholiach establishes the five fold not the rabbi.

You will never be fulfilled in life unless you operate in what you were created to do.

  • Some were created to cast out demons.
  • Some were created to send out and establish. An Apostolic anointing sets everything in order so it can function sends out and girds up YHWH ‘s rabbis’ and teachers.
  • Some were created for helps and comfort.
  • Some were created for administration and casting out demons.
  • Some were created to be evangelists; signs and wonders, sensitivity often accompany the evangelist.
  • Some to prophecy. A Navi gives vision and direction.
  1. Sholiach – Sends out, sets everything in order so it can function, girds up YHWH’s rabbis and teachers.
  2. Navi – gives vision and direction and revelation.
  3. Evangelist – gets people saved
  4. Pastors – oversee, nurture, wash and cleanse
  5. Rabbi’s – instruct and equip.

Crash and burn. Then come back to all five -

  1. To the pastor –oversee your restoration, wash and cleanse you and send you to:
  2. To the rabbi – he’ll teach you and re equip you with advanced gear and send you to:
  3. To the navi – he’ll give you a renewed vision and direction and send you to the:
  4. To the evangelist – who’ll get you all fired up for the mission field with the Great Commission and he’ll send you to:
  5. To the sholiach – who’ll set everything in order so it can function and send you back out to succeed.

Moshe Rabainu, the mediator, was an Apostle – Shemot 3:15, and a prophet – Dev 18:15. Yeshua our mediator was an Apostle – Ivrim 3:1 and The Prophet.

The 13 MIDOT (attributes) of YHWH.

Shemot 34:6 YHWH, YHWH. An El, full of rachamim and favor, longsuffering, and abundant in, chesed, and emet, 7 Keeping chesed for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the ahvot upon the children, and upon the children’s children, to the third and to the fourth generation.

G ‘ milut Hasidim, acts of loving-kindness, leads into the thirteen attributes of YHWH. They are part of the story of Moses asking to see YHWH’s KAVOWD/glory. YHWH permits Moses only to see a little and in passing by YHWH makes a statement about himself, which can be seen as thirteen attributes of his essence:

  1. YHWH – traditionally YHWH’s name is related to his mercy.
  2. YHWH – YHWH repeats this, indicating it is central to his being.
  3. El – a word for deity indicates his kingship over all things.
  4. Rachum > Rechem – womb – compassionate, he sympathizes with the oppressed.
  5. Khanun – gracious, God is lovingly concerned with us.
  6. Erekh afayim – slow to anger, he gives people time to repent.
  7. Rav khesed – abundant in kindness, God gives more than we deserve.
  8. Emet – truth, YHWH is the source of truth.
  9. Notzer khesed la’alafim – extending kindness to the thousandth generation, God is truly longsuffering.
  10. 11. And 12. Nosei avon vafesha vekhata’ah – forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin, YHWH forgives all kinds of wrongdoing.
  11. …forgiving transgression,
  12. …forgiving sin,
  13. Venakeh lo yenakeh – yet YHWH does not remit all punishment, which reminds us YHWH’s mercy has a limit.

It is attribute number 13 that I wish to focus on for a moment. Another translation words it, “who will by no means clear the guilty.” It is from the Torah, in Exodus 34:7. Venakeh lo yenakeh.

How wide are the boundaries for the Age to Come? Some ask is conscious faith in Yeshua prior to death really necessary? What sort of exceptions does YHWH make?

Yochannan Aleph 2: 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Yahushua is the Moshiach? He is of Moshiach – neged, whoever denies the Abba and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have Abba either; but he who acknowledges the Son has Abba also. 24 As for you, let that stay in you which you have heard from Beresheeth. If what you heard from Beresheeth stays in you, you also will stay in the Son and in Abba. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us; eternal chayim. 26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.

  • The Torah principle of karet, being cut off, is an example of YHWH’s exclusivism in the Torah. Those who teach unscriptural ideas of The Father and Son being the same as opposed to two powers (not persons) of the one-echad are called liars. (explanation in audio teaching).
  • This would also apply to those who bypass Yeshua entirely, claiming only the need for the Father as their Savior.
  • Some who believe that the traditional boundary of faith in Yeshua should not be considered absolute suggest it is against YHWH’s character to be so narrow. And it is true that YHWH is longsuffering, showing kindness to the thousandth generation, full of compassion, grace, and love. Yet attribute number 13 of YHWH is his tendency to say, “KARET” “CUT OFF” – “Enough!”
  • YHWH does have a line. He cut people off in the Torah for various violations and blasphemies. If in the Brit Chadasha we read that YHWH’s boundary for the Age to Come is faith in Yeshua, then who are we to criticize – it’s Torah, it’s His very essence, His thirteenth attribute! The Brit Chadasha is not making YHWH out to be any narrower than the Torah does.

Yochannan Aleph 2:24  As for you, let that stay in you which you have heard from Beresheeth. If what you heard from Beresheeth stays in you, you also will stay in the Son and in Abba.

Beresheeth 1:1 Beresheeth Bara Elohim Aleph-Taf ha shamayim v-et ha-aretz. In the beginning Elohim –Aleph-Tav- Yeshua created the heavens and the earth.

The Son is the true Creator and the Father is the Master designer – Mishle 30:4, Col 1:16.
