PARSHA METZORA (Leper)

By Matthew Moshe Nolan

Metzora/Leper  – Vayikra/Leviticus 14:1 – 15:33

YHWH show me your heart – and YHWH shows me Torah!

Tehillim 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the Torah of YHWH.

Many are called but few are chosen. This week’s parsha is the litmus test, a call to Holy living- few will choose it, and most will excuse it and then wonder why they are not prospering. It’s about self-surrender to YHWH’s will, how to access purity of life, separation and distinction, actions befitting a nation of Priests. “Be holy for I am holy.” “Be a living sacrifice.” A gift to YHWH must be a sacrifice of value. If these laws ceased after Yeshua’s death, as dispensationalist theology explains, then why the strict observance of laying Yeshua in an undefiled tomb?

  • Metzora – mem, tzade, resh, ayin. – leper.
  • Tazara’t – leprosy – a physical symptom of a deeper spiritual condition.
  • Tamei – unclean, to be contaminated with a foreign substance – a mixture.
  • Tahor – clean, to be free from foreign elements.
  • Zavah – flowing
  • Zav – irregular organ emission.
  • Niddah – to separate; nadad, an action root, to move away form, to distance oneself. Beresheeth 31:40 is the first occurrence: “Sleep departed from Yaakov’s eyes”. Niddah is a picture of Moshiach: inside the body = life; outside the body = death.
  • Mikva – immersion (Ivrim 6:2 Micvaot/baptisms – plural).

Overview:

  • Leprosy and sin.
  • Soul problems, defiling yourself and guarding yourself against discharge.
  • Bodily fluids and sexuality. “The life is in the blood….the blood is mine.”
  • Blood
  • Tahor and Tamei.

Tahor and Tamei. Did Yeshua sin? No.

Did Yeshua become Tamei? Yes, No sin was committed. Sin is committed if these commandments are ignored.

Sefer Vayikra really deals with soul problems from Vayikra 11:42 onward. “All that crawls on its belly you shall not eat.” The middle of Torah, the mark of the scribe – Belly (Gachown – gimmel, chet, vav, nun.) The third letter, vav, is the very center of Torah – the soul or belly of Torah – what to bring and what not to bring near to your soul.    It’s about being a Priest.

Vayikra 14 NKJ overview.

All disease starts in the spirit/soul.

Three things that defile you: buildings, people and clothes – 1 day, 7 days or a year. Clothing and skin fall under the same Torah laws.

  • Leprosy and Lashon Ha Ra/Speech of evil, evil tongue. One who spreads slander or speaking derogatorily (Aaron and Miriam).
  • Lashon Kadosh – Holy tongue/speech.
  • Leprosy/sin/lashon ha ra is progressive. When a person is malfunctioning spiritually, his body will be afflicted first then his garments and then his household. All this is in order to encourage repentance before the soul is negatively affected. Leprosy usually begins by questioning a person’s character or walk then escalates from there on out.
  • Leprosy begins with a small bump in the skin, then it may affect the beard, then the hair, then the garments and ultimately the house.
  • Leprosy intensifies if one refuses to make teshuvah. A bump in the skin can be hidden by a beard or ones hair so YHWH afflicts the hair. One could cover the baldness up with a garment, so YHWH afflicts the garment. One may sequester oneself away in their home to hide themselves, so YHWH afflicts the home causing everything to be exposed and in plain sight.
  • Leprosy is the means by which YHWH exposes the darkest secrets of man’s heart and soul.
  • Quarantined to prevent contamination (first go to brother – Panayim el Panayim, then if they don’t repent take two witnesses, if that doesn’t get the desired response bring them before the congregation and finally quarantine them away form the body and hand them over to s.atan for a time in hopes of teshuvah.
  • Ritual of cleansing: the two birds represent the two house of Israel – Ephraim and Judah, the first bird from Judah is slain (Yeshua). The other bird – Ephraim is spared and covered in the blood of the one sacrificed (wood, scarlet and hyssop). The second bird – Ephraim, is then set free in an open field (the world/exile) but covered by the blood of the sacrifice.
  • Skin: Owr – ayin-vav-resh. ayin=eye, vav=connection, resh= head. The eye is connected to the head, what the eye sees the head holds a picture of (we have to renew our minds).
  • Hand washing: Doctor going from room to room without washing. Levites were the first surgeons.

Swelling/uprising

White hair coming out of white flesh – tamei – death feeding on death.

Taharat Ha Mishpocha/family purity.

Ivrim 13:4 Marriage is honorable in all situations, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers YHWH will judge.

(Greek- AMIANTOS – pure in regard to the laws of NIDDAH by which the marriage bed is measured.)

Vayikra 15:1 And YHWH spoke to Moshe and to Aaron, saying, 2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When any man has a running discharge out of his flesh, becauseof his discharge he is unclean. 3 And this shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his flesh runs with his discharge, or his flesh isstopped up from his discharge, it is his uncleanness in him all the days of the discharge of his flesh; even if his flesh obstructs his discharge, it is his uncleanness. 4 Every bed, on which he lies that has the discharge, is unclean: and every object, on which he sits, shall be unclean. 5 And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 6 And he that sits on any thing on which he sat that has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 7 And he that touches the flesh of him that has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 8 And if he that has the discharge spits upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 9 And whatever saddle he rides upon that has the discharge shall be unclean. 10 And whoever touches any object that was under him shall be unclean until the evening: and he that picks up any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening.11 And whoever touches the one that has the discharge, and has not rinsed his hands in mayim, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 12 And the vessel of earth, that he touches which has the discharge, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in mayim. 13 And when he that has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge; then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running mayim, and shall be clean. 14 And on the eighth day he shall take with him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before YHWH to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation, and give them to the kohen: 15 And the kohen shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the kohen shall make keporah for him before YHWH for his discharge.

(ZAV – includes an irregular organ emission. Beresheeth/Genesis 38:9 Onan spilt his seed outside of Tamar/woman = death – sobering.)

16. And if any man’s semen of emission goes out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 17 And every garment, and every skin, on which is the semen of emission, shall be washed with mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 18 The woman also who lies with a man having semen of emission, they shall both bathe themselves in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 19 And if a woman has a discharge, and in her discharge of her flesh shall be found dahm, she shall be separated seven days: and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

(NEGAH – NUN, GIMMEL, AYIN – to touch, to reach out and effect physically)

20 And every thing that she lies upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sits upon shall be unclean. 21 And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 22 And whoever touches any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening. 23 And if it is on her bed, or on any thing on which she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the evening. 24 And if any man lies with her at all, and her discharge is upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed on which he lies shall be unclean.

(SHAKAB – to lie for rest, meaning the same bed, not intentional sexual relations, which brings about being cut off from Israel and cast out of the believing community.)

Vayikra 20:18 “And if a man shall lie with a woman during her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he has discovered her flow, and she has uncovered the fountain of her dahm: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.”

(If it were inadvertent NIDDAH, which occurred during the act of intimacy a provision of grace, is given – 7 days. A woman’s menses can start anytime without warning.)

25 And if a woman has a discharge of her dahm many days/YAMIN RABIN but not in the time of her separation, or if it runs beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.

(More than two days – YAMIN RABIN. A different word, YOMAYIM is used for two days, therefore YAMIN RABIN is indicative of more than two days, which would move you from NIDDAH – separated to ZAVAH – flowing. When you have the clean day, the next day, after sunset you begin your 7-day NIDDAH count, once completed, take a Micvah and normal life resumes. Any flow during the month outside the of the usual NIDDAH automatically puts you in ZAVAH/flowing.)

26 Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her separation: and whatever she sits upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. 27 And whoever touches those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in mayim, and be unclean until the evening.28 But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take with her two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the kohen, to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation. 30 And the kohen shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the kohen shall make keporah for her before YHWH for the discharge of her uncleanness.31 And so shall you separate the children of Yisrael from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile My Tabernacle that is among them. 32 This is the Torah of him that has a discharge, and of him whose semen goes from him, and is defiled by it; 33 And of her that is sick in her monthly separation, and of him that has a discharge, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lies with her that is unclean.

Ma’aseh Schlichim 15Abstain form blood and from things strangled.”

YHWH is an Elohim of distinctions.

Man is a sexual being – animals are sexual creatures – a distinction must be made! What distinguishes man from the animals? His ability to judge between Tahor and Tamei.

The woman is YHWH’s chosen vessel of honor to represent a spiritual reality reflected in the following:

  • Creation – perfect/whole – fall/separation/niddah – restoration/Messianic Kingdom.
  • Man – perfect/whole – fall/separation/niddah – restoration/Messiah.
  • Israel – whole/all 12 tribes – fall/captivity/separation/division/scattered – restoration of the two houses.
  • Moshiach/Messiah – perfect/whole/complete – bruised/bled/separated at the tree – raised and restored.
  • Woman’s cycle – whole – bleeds (7 days, 7 = plan of YHWH/creation – restored/mikva.

It’s about honor, when blood is present the woman belongs to YHWH not to man. Don’t consume.

Faith and intellect: The woman reflects faith, the man intellect. The cycle of family purity teaches us that when faith is weak we must refrain from the use of intellect and focus on strengthening faith. Once strengthened, our faith becomes a strong vessel capable of containing our intellect.

The egg and the zera/seed represent potential life lost – therefore – Tamei.

31 things that contain blood: the rabbis teach that there are 31 things that contain blood. Here are a few: semen, fingernails, boogers, earwax, spittle, waste. Mark 8:23 Yeshua met the tradition of the Bachor.

  • Mono – the kissing disease.
  • Should we eat, drink, swallow or lay in blood?
  • Seminal fluids are created to co-create life with the Creator. If you lay in blood (the sheets) like a sow lying and wallowing in the muck- generational.
  • If you do not have a boundary in the bedroom you will not have a boundary out there.
  • If you do not guard yourself against discharge – you will not guard yourself against any discharge.
  • Constipated – backed up with blood.
  • What your doing privately will be manifest by your actions publicly.
  • Out of control publicly out of control privately.
  • Can’t distinguish between clean and unclean publicly – it’s because you can’t distinguish privately.
  • Believers complain about homosexuality, yet if believers are saying what the bible calls unclean is now clean and permissible you can’t blame unbelievers from using the same standard.

Niddah and frequency: Oil and water interrupt the pattern.

In July 11, 2006, a group of educators and health professionals met together for a landmark testing what happens to the human body in relation to the laws of Niddah (separation) found in the Torah.

A series of basic protocols were made and keeping the confidentiality of the women’s status. In other words, the men were not aware which of the women were on their menstrual cycle.

  • TO TOUCH: HUG, HANDSHAKE, AND A KISS TO HANDLE.
  • PASSING ON AN OBJECT BY HAND, DRINK, OR EAT FROM THE SAME PLATE OR CUP.
  • TO SIT: SITTING ON THE SAME CHAIR OR PLACE WHERE THE WOMAN SAT, OR NEXT TO HER.

A remarkable discovery was made and with repetitive tests confirming again and again the results. When the laws of Niddah were not observed all the men who volunteered on the tests experienced a remarkable difference. Natural laws of the human body were broken and gave clear evidences as to the effect of the body when the Laws of Niddah were not observed.

Living Testimony of the laws of Family Purity:

 The first volunteers were married couples; each of them was tested to identify how their physical condition was. The female wife was tested on the first day of her menstrual cycle, demonstrating level 9 bandwidth and very high total body vital force or known as a “total frequency‟ and her husband was also level 9 bandwidth with higher body vital force as well.

 However, when the husband touched the menstruous woman, his total body frequency dropped to 103 and bandwidth recorded drop to level 3 bandwidth.

 The husband experienced an overwhelming feeling of extreme tiredness, dizziness, nauseas, slight headache, and felt as if the life force was departing from his body, making him weak and a sense of loss of concentration. The worst organ frequency were the sexual organs testing a total internal frequency of 1 and a total external frequency of 1 as well.

 We proceeded to instruct the subject to apply the principle of “until the even”. Evening and prayer. When the husband made a series of Hebrew prayers, his body frequency was restored to normal, which is level 9 bandwidth, demonstrating a beautiful sapphire color on the entire body. (Living stones in the walls of the New Jerusalem – undefiled)

 In addition, other tests were implemented such as a simple hug, kiss, or shake-hands, including the handling of any object or sitting on the same chair.  These would lead the man to completely drop the vital force or electrical field unto the lowest level of frequency and producing chaotic colors.

The mystery of the laws of Niddah have been revealed through scientific understanding when the man would be unclean meaning that his vital force or his electrical field would collapse with contact or touch of any woman in her menstrual cycle. We observed and analyzed that throughout the entire menstrual cycle with the exception of the last two of spotless days, the man’s polarization wall switched upside down from North-South. Then the last two days, the woman’s polarization is also switched from North-South pole.

Mikvah elevates the marriage. It becomes more spiritually fulfilling. This enables the couple to increase their relationship physically, emotionally and spiritually. The ultimate genuine harmony brings the special sparkle in their relationship and enhances the bond together with the blessings of YHWH. The oral tradition spoken by the sages of hundred of years ago reminded us that when the mikvah is done, and then husband and wife become a new bride and groom again and again. YHWH bestows continual blessings upon their marriage again and makes them fruitful in everything they do.
