The 3 keys to a final Exodus are: 1. Passover and how we approach the master’s table 2. YHWH’s altar and His fiery judgement over the worlds system Know, to some were created for destruction and some for glory, it all depends on whether you are being abated and transformed in heart or left to be strengthened, buttressed in heart! 3. Finally, we all need to be encouraged from the witness of Aaron and Moshe, you have intercessors and mediators who’ll aid you and speak for you if you are slow in tongue or need assistance with authorities prior to Exodus!
Intro: Our Torah Parasha recounts the plagues inflicted upon Egypt, when Pharaoh refuses to let Israel go.
For the last generation scattered in the nations, you and I should have the hope and ever present expectation that יהוה will too, deliver us from the world and lead us into the land – the millennium – but this is not only a physical quest but a spiritual quest.
The Torah builds up to Joshua bringing Israel home and the prophecies build up to as the King Jimmy translates “Yeshua” (Acts 7:45) a new “Joshua” leading Israel home.
But just as in our Parsha, we’ll have to endure plagues and cosmic disturbances and triumph by the blood of the lamb and a Greater Exodus.
In Exodus there are 3 X 3 plagues with a final judgement, totaling 10 in all. For the last generation there will be 3 sets of 7 more severe judgments in Revelation culminating with a Greater Exodus.
The keys to a final Exodus are:
Passover and how we approach the master’s table
YHWH’s altar and His fiery judgement over the worlds system
Know, to some were created for destruction and some for glory, it all depends on whether you are being abated and transformed in heart or left to strengthened, buttressed in heart!
Finally, we all need to be encouraged from the witness of Aaron and Moshe, you have intercessors and mediators who’ll aid you and speak for you if you are slow in tongue or need assistance with authorities prior to Exodus!
Shemot 6:2 And Elohim spoke to Moshe, (a mild rebuke – Diber) and said to him, I am vuvh: 3 And I appeared to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov, in and as El-Shaddai, but by My Name vuvh was I not known to them?4 And I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Kanaan, the land of their pilgrimage, where they were strangers.
v. 3 could be viewed as a question…but by My Name vuvhwas I not known to them? But they never questioned me even though they never saw all of my attributes.
Yahusha makes the same equitable enquiry to his followers right before the Passover of deliverance too, the culmination of the events that are about to commence right here – bookend linguistics.
Jn. 14: 8 Philip saith unto him, Master, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth. Yahusha saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Jn 20:29 Yahusha saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Yisrael, whom the Mitzrim keep in bondage; and I have remembered My brit.
Now we get to the “7, I wills” of YHWH – attributes and the 4 cups of Passover) Therefore say to the children of Yisrael, I am vuvh, and I will bring you out (“Cup of Sanctification”) from under the burdens of the Mitzrim, and I will deliver you (“Cup of Deliverance”) out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched Arm (Yahushua’s “3rd cup – Cup of Redemption”), and with great mishpatim: 7 And I will take you to Me for a people (“Cup of Praise” – taking His people into the Kingdom as a bride)…
Once you come to the Lamb (the four cups) you gain the security of 3 eternal truths.
יהוה became yours…“He will be your elohim” He knows you intimately and cares for you intimately.
יהוה brings you out of your sin, the elohim who doesn’t leave you as you are.
יהוה assures you a future – an eternal heritage beyond Egypt – beyond the limits of this world.
and I will be your Elohim: and you shall know that I am vuvh your Elohim, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Mitzrim. 8 And I will bring you in to the land, concerning which I did swear to give it to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am vuvh.
1 Cor 10: 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, is it not the common union of the body of Messiah? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to El: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Master, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Masters table, and of the table of devils. 22 Do we provoke the Master to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
Heb 10:28 He that despises Moses’ law dies (ongoing not past tense)without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of El, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Dionysus – 2 Macc 6:5 The altar was laden with unclean victims prohibited by the law. 6 It was no longer allowed to celebrate the Sabbath or observe the customs of our ancestors, or even to declare oneself a Jew. 7 But, on the contrary, they were led by bitter necessity to celebrate the king’s birthday with a monthly sacrifice. And when the feast of Dionysus came, they were also forced to follow the Dionysus procession and wear floral wreaths of ivy.
Dionysus was the god of the grape harvest, wine making and wine, the son of Zeus. To the Romans he was Bacchus, they worshipped him on his day – Sunday at sunrise at the Tiber River in Rome with a small sun disc wafer and a small cup of wine mixed with the sacrificial blood of his child victim – THE COUNTERFEIT syncretized into the Nicene Creed and fed to the people via Papal Bull!
1 Cor 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Masters death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Master.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
Before Israel could benefit from the Passover all double-mindedness had to end.
Rav Shaul said to “be crucified with Moshiach” It’s not possible if you don’t go to Pesach – you gotta go!
Eat my flesh drink my blood!
The cup that Yahusha drank of (3rd redemption) was a cup that established the Renewed Covenant – Jer 31:31 – BoC Torah.
Shemot 6:9 And Moshe spoke this to the children of Yisrael: but they listened not to Moshe because of their anguish of ruach, and cruel bondage.
“Quason” = stiff-necked, they didn’t hear and obey Moshe because they were impatient of ruach and stiff-necked in their service.
6:10 And vuvh spoke to Moshe, saying,11 Go in, speak to Pharaoh melech of Mitzrayim, so that he lets the children of Yisrael go out of his land. 12 And Moshe spoke before vuvh, saying, See, the children of Yisrael have not listened to me; how then shall Pharaoh listen to me, I who am of uncircumcised lips?
See: Jasher 70:1
7:8 And vuvh spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, saying,9 When Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, Show a miracle for yourselves: then you shall say to Aharon, Take your rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. 10 And Moshe and Aharon went in to Pharaoh, and they did as vuvh had commanded, and Aharon cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his avadim, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: and the magicians of Mitzrayim, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aharon’s rod swallowed up their rods.
This is the Serpent from the rod that YHWH asked Moshe to cast down in Exodus 4:3 as that was a Nachash – Nun, Chet, Shin. = foretelling, conjure, snake, metal, smooth, bronze or copper.
Here its called a tannı̂ym
Num. 21:8 And YHWH said to Moshe, Make a fiery “serpent”and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live.
Serpent is in italics – not Nachash but Seraph – Shin, resh. fey = a Seraphim!
Isaiah 6:2: Above it stood seraphim: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
YHWH’s fiery attendant judging the Egyptians various bronze gods that they served.
13 And He hardened Pharaoh’s lev, so that he listened not to them; as vuvh had said. 14 And vuvh said to Moshe, Pharaoh’s lev is hardened; he refuses to let the people go.
The hard heart of man, epitomized in Pharoah. In 7:3 quashah, in 10:1 kabad, but in all other 8 cases the Hebrew word is Chazaq = strengthened. Meaning, and here’s the lesson for us, that whatever Pharaoh’s heart was inclined to
YHWH merely strengthened what was already present within his heart, YHWH strengthened his inclination – good or evil – to show the condition of the heart.
The case of man – let us ponder together…
I think you can see how the world is progressing. יהוה doesn’t not send men to hell, man chooses to war against יהוה , war against creation – like kind after like kind, and war against ones very own self the result at death is a self imposed hell of rejecting their maker who loved them with a life.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
People are failing to realize that the mark which the action leaves on that tiny central self (the soul) which no one sees in this life but which each of us will have to endure-or enjoy forever.
Josh 24:23: Now therefore put away, the strange eloheim that are among you, and incline your heart to YHWH Eloheim of Yisrael.
15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning; see, he goes out to the mayim; and you shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent (nachash) shall you take in your hand. 16 And you shall say to him, vuvh Elohim of the Ivrim has sent me to you, saying, Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness: and, see, before you would not listen.
The plagues: In the beginning of the bible we saw how Abel’s blood cried out to convict Cain, here in our text the blood of the male Israelite children cries out from the Nile to convict Pharaoh.
Anthropomorphic יהוה…begins the plagues with just a touch of His finger (8:19), then His hand (9:3), and finally, the deliverance is accomplished with the out –stretched arm spoken of in (6:6).
YHWH is manifesting His majesty over the pantheon of Egyptian eloheim.
What’s plaguing you – ten plagues typify the 10 plagues that are plaguing the 12 tribes of Israel:
נגע nega‛ Plague is a verb too – associated with leprosy and sin. It means to cause worry or distress. The world is plagued by so much today that the souls of men are overwhelmed as everyday life unravels all around us.
A plague for our times. The only hope is still the same as then, Lk 21:2 8 for when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
But the real plague has always been the same – the heart of man…remember: your whole life long you are slowly turning this central thing (your soul) either into a heavenly creature or a hellish creature…
Judge the world by their fruits and what do you see?
