Ezekiel 12:10-13;  10 This says the Master vuvh; This burden concerns the leaders in Yahrushalayim, and all Beit Yisrael that are among them.  11 Say, I am your ot: like I have done, so shall it be done to you: you shall be removed and go into exile.  12 And the leader that is among them shall bear his baggage upon his shoulders in the twilight, and shall go out: he shall dig through the wall to carry them out through it: he shall cover his face, that he see not the land with his eyes.  13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in My trap: and I will bring him to Bavel to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

Upon the prince is the burden of this prophecy – King Zedekiah’s sad end. 

There is a whole segment of our secular society who’ve put their trust in government not God;  believing themselves safe and secure!

But we know; for there is another king, one Yahusha!

V13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in My trap: there was a cave which reached from Zedekiah’s house to the plains of Jericho.

Ezekiel 12:14 And I will scatter towards every wind all that are around him who try to assist him, and all his chains; and I will draw out the sword after them. 15 And they shall know that I am vuvh, when

12:14.5 I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

Ezekiel 12:16 But I will let a few men of theirs escape from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may confess all their abominations among the gentile where they will go; and they shall know that I am vuvh.

Ezekiel 12:17 Moreover the word of vuvh came to me, saying, 18 Ben-adam, eat your lechem with quaking, and drink your mayim with trembling and with anxiety;

Jeremiah 42 -43. This is not the time to be going back into the world, this is not the time to be floundering in the faith!

Ezekiel 12:19-24;  19 And say to the people of the land, This says the Master vuvh to the inhabitants of Yahrushalayim, and of the land of Yisrael; They shall eat their lechem with anxiety, and drink their mayim with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is in it, because of the violence of all those that dwell in it. 20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am vuvh. 21 And the word of vuvh came to me, saying, 22 Ben-adam, what is that mishle that you have in the land of Yisrael, saying, The days are delayed, and every vision fails? 23 Tell them therefore, This says the Master vuvh; I will make this mishle to cease, and they shall no more use it as a mishle in Yisrael; but say to them, The days are at hand, and the matter of every vision. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination inside Beit Yisrael.

The Syriac version renders vs 24 “doubtful prediction.”

The Septuagint version is, “he that divines for grace”

Don’t we live in a time like that, teachers teaching for grace in order to ingratiate themselves to the people…..

Ezekiel 12:25;  25 For I am vuvh: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more delayed: for in your days, O rebellious bayit, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the Master vuvh. 26 Again the word of vuvh came to me, saying, 27 Ben-adam, see, those of Beit Yisrael say, The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of times that are far off. 28 Therefore say to them, 12:28.5This says the Master vuvh; None of My words will be delayed any more, but the word that I have spoken shall be done, says the Master vuvh.

Ezekiel 13:1-5;  1 And the word of vuvh came to me, saying,  2 Ben-adam, prophesy against the neviim of Yisrael that prophesy, and say to them that prophesy out of their own levavot, Hear the word of vuvh;  3 This says the Master vuvh; Woe to the foolish neviim, that follow their own ruach, and have seen nothing!  4 O Yisrael, your neviim are like the foxes in the deserts.  5 You have not gone up into the gaps; neither built a wall of protection for Beit Yisrael to stand in the battle in the day of vuvh.

In contrast;  believers; like true prophets are called to live as ones who stand ‘in the Gap’: פּרץ perets for their brothers!

Psalms 106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one elohim, and one mediator (someone who stands in the gap) between Elohim and men, the man Moshiach Yahusha.

As believers we need to ascend into the breech, as did Moshe Rabainu when the believing community is in danger. Yahusha, again capitalizes upon Israel’s history and the writing of the prophets when again he contrasts it with:

John 10:1 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who does not enter into the sheepfold by the door, but going up by another way, that one is a thief and a robber the false prophets were thieves and robbers of the souls and minds of Israel….but they did not understand what it was which He spoke to them….Just as they didn’t understand in the days of Ezekiel and Jeremiah. Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep….11  I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He lays down in the breach of the wall to prevent the little foxes coming in – the false prophets.

….Joh 10:12  But he who is a hireling and not the shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away. And the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep.

Nebuchadnezzar is the wolf from which the foxes are fleeing, leaving the breaches in the wall open so that Israel – the vineyard in which the foxes were running amongst the vines will be scattered to Babylon for 70 years.

Yahusha is telling of Israel’s history here and still no one can make the connection!

13  The hireling flees, because he is a hireling and does not care for the sheep.….Joh 10:16  And I have other sheep who are not of this fold. I must also lead those, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one Shepherd.

Ezekiel 13:6-9;  6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, vuvh says: and vuvh has not sent them: and they have made others to have tikvah that the false word would be confirmed. 7 Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, vuvh says it; yet I have not spoken?  8 Therefore this says the Master vuvh; Because you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, see, I am against you, says the Master vuvh.  9 And My hand shall be upon the neviim that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the congregation of My people, neither shall they be written in the writing of Beit Yisrael, neither shall they enter into the land of Yisrael; and you shall know that I am the Master vuvh.

Ezekiel 13:10-16;  10 Because, they have seduced My people, saying, Shalom; and there was no shalom; and one built up a wall, while others coat it with whitewash:  11 Say to them who coat it with whitewash that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down.  12 See, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the coating with which you have coated?  13 Therefore this says the Master vuvh; I will even tear it with a stormy wind in My anger; and there shall be an overflowing shower in My anger, and great hailstones in My anger to consume it.  14 So will I break down the wall that you have coated with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation of it shall be uncovered, and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it: and you shall know that I am vuvh.  15 By this will I accomplish My anger upon the wall, and upon them that have coated it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more, neither they that coated it;  16 Such are the neviim of Yisrael who prophesy concerning Yahrushalayim, and who see visions of shalom for her, and there is no shalom, says the Master vuvh.

The people are like unto those who build a weak partition and their prophets smear it with a plaster like earth.

Ezekiel 13:17 Likewise, Ben-adam, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own lev; and prophesy against them.

‘Your people’: עמף Ayeen-Mem-Fei Sofeet. ‘Ameif’ This expression ‘Ameif’ only appears ever in the book of Ezekiel (3:11, 17, 33:2, 12, 17, 30 & 37:18).

There is one place in the Torah where the inflection of the noun ‘Am’ עמ originates – Exodus 32 in the account of the Golden Calf, the tensions in the relationship between יהוה and His people:

Exodus 32:7And יהוה  said to Moses, Go! Get down, for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, are corrupted.

יהוה excludes Himself – Moses they’re ‘your people’, not mine! Meaning they’re unworthy of His divine mercy to mitigate the enormity of their sin and Book of the Covenant breach.

Exodus 32:11 And Moses prayed to יהוה  his Elohim, and said, יהוה , why does Your wrath become hot against Your people whom You have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Moshe now uses the term to emphasize that the nation, including himself are YHWH’s chosen people deserving of His forgiveness.

Exodus 32:14 And יהוה repented as to the evil which He spoke of doing to His people.

Restoration ‘your people’ becomes ‘His people’ only through prayer and petition! ONLY!

Matthew 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

How did Israel become YHWH’s people again?

Romans 9:25 As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.  26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living Elohim.

The children of the living Elohim   בּן bên חי chay אל ’êl

John 21:1-11;  1 After this, Jesus shewed himself to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he shewed himself after this manner.  2 There were together: Simon Peter and Thomas, who is called Didymus, and Nathanael, who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee and two others of his disciples.  3 Simon Peter saith to them: I go a fishing. They say to him: We also come with thee. And they went forth and entered into the ship: and that night they caught nothing. 4  But when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus therefore said to them: Children, have you any meat? They answered him:  6 He saith to them: Cast the net on the right side of the ship; and you shall find. They cast therefore: and now they were not able to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.  7 That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter: It is the Lord. Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, girt his coat about him (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea.  8 But the other disciples came in the ship (for they were not far from the land, but as it were two hundred cubits) dragging the net with fishes.  9 As soon then as they came to land they saw hot coals lying, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.  10 Jesus saith to them: Bring hither of the fishes which you have now caught.  11 Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, one hundred and fifty-three. And although there were so many, the net was not broken.

153 in Hebrew gematria equals the numerical value of a certain phrase that was well known; בּן bên חי chay אל ’êl   the children of the living Elohim from Hosea 1.10, a phrase that happened only once!

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Will we remain ‘His people’, or will we become ‘your people?”

Ezekiel 13:18-23;  18 And say, This says the Master vuvh;  18.5 Woe to the women that sew magic charms upon all wrists, and make veils upon the heads of every size to hunt beings! Will you hunt the beings of My people, and will you save the beings alive that come to you?  19 And will you profane Me among My own people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of lechem, to slay the beings that should not die, and to save the beings alive that should not be alive, by your lying to My people that listen to your lies?  20 Therefore this says the Master vuvh; See, I am against your magic charms, with which you hunt the beings like birds, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the beings go, even the beings that you hunt like birds.  21 Your veils also will I tear, and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am vuvh.  22 Because with lies you have made the lev of the tzadik sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked derech, by promising him chayim:  23 Therefore you shall see no more vanity, nor practice divinations: for I will deliver My people out of your hand: and you shall know that I am vuvh.
