The war of the witnesses! ACTS 7:20 the life of Moses: the three 40 year periods correspond to the three prophetic epochs of the Bible. The first 40 years correspond to the Patriarchal Period, the second 40 years correspond to the wilderness (Midian) period, the third 40 years correspond to the time of the Kings and Prophets - then that period ceases and Israel finally gets to enter into the promise land under Yahushua Messiah! We are truly living in the end of days!
ABRAHAM CROSSED OVER: Acts 7:1 Then the high priest said, Then do you so hold these things? 2 And he said, Men, brothers, and fathers, listen: The Elohim of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran. 3 And He said to him, “Go out from your land and from your kindred, and come into a land which I shall show you.” 4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, he moved into this land in which you now dwell.
After experiencing Malki in Gen 11. THE PROMISE: Gen. 12 Unconditional oath/ Unconditional – YHWH swears by no one higher than Himself – Ps 110.5 (Avraham requests a signature guarantee > Gen 15). Heb.6:13 – Yahweh swears to Himself by Himself for there was “no greater” –
Gen. 15 Conditional arm, death penalty position. 430 years until the covenant is ratified at Exo 19. Gen 16 the Cov sign – all Israel enter the covenant both male and female by passing as seed through the circumcised organ. Now since Yahusha did not pass through as seed of Josephs organ how did he enter the covenant? Gen 15:7 Yahusha is the burning torch that passed through the cutting of the flesh pieces paying they death penalty position (Remember Abraham rejoiced to see my day). Yahusha’s circumcison of Gen 15 was for all who came through a non circumcised organ and even a circumcised organ after the Golden Calf breach! We enter through faith in his death penalty position and ascended body. Col 2:11. And you are complete in Him, who is the Head of all principality and power, in whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.
The torch that passed between the pieces. Heb ‛âbar, Gk parerchomai as in Matt 26:39 And He went a little further and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will. (Let the covenant between the pieces Malkizedek penalty pass from me).
Heb 5:7 For, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryings and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared, though being a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
Gal 3:17 And this I say, that the Brit, that was confirmed by vuvh through Moshiach, the law, 1 that came four hundred and thirty years later, cannot nullify the Avrahamic brit, did you catch that? The law (BoL) that came 430 years later is not connected at all to the Covenant of Promise (BoC) so that it should make the promise of no effect. 2 18 For if the inheritance is from the law, it is no more by the word of promise: (the inheritance of the Covenants isn’t in the part of Torah that came 430 years later) but vuvh gave it to Avraham by promise. 19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, (the part of Torah that was 430 years later was added because of some kind of sin transgression) 3 until the Zera should come to whom the promise was made (UNTIL – means to a moment of impending CHANGE) and heavenly malachim through the hands of a Mediator ordained it.
Acts 7:5 And He gave him no inheritance in it, no, not even a foot-breadth. And He promised that He would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, there being no child to him. 6 And Elohim spoke in this way, that his seed would be a tenant in another land, and that they would enslave it and oppress it four hundred years. 7 And Elohim said, “I will judge the nation to whom they shall be in bondage,” and “after these things they will come out and will serve Me in this place.” 8 And He gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so Abraham fathered Isaac and circumcised him the eighth day. And Isaac fathered Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.
JOSEPH SOLD: Acts 7:9 And being jealous of Joseph, the patriarchs sold Joseph into Egypt. But יהוה was with him and plucked him out from all his afflictions, and He gave him favor and wisdom over against Pharaoh king of Egypt. And he appointed him governor over Egypt and all his household. 11 But a famine came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and a great affliction. And our fathers found no food. 12 But hearing grain was in Egypt, Jacob sent out our fathers first. 13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph’s race was made known to Pharaoh. 14 And seeing, Joseph called his father Jacob, and all his kindred, seventy-five souls.
SEVENTY-FIVE INTO EGYPT: Acts 7:15 And Jacob went down into Egypt and died, he and our fathers, 16 and were carried over into Shechem. And they were laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a price of silver from the sons of Emmor the father of Shechem. 17 But as the time was drawing near, of the promise which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, 18 until another king arose who did not know Joseph. 19 Dealing subtly with our race, this one oppressed our fathers, causing their infants to be exposed, so as not to be left alive.
ACTS 7:20 MOSHE: Three 40 year periods correspond to the three prophetic epochs of the Bible. The first 40 years correspond to the Patriarchal Period, the second 40 years correspond to the wilderness (Midian) period, the third 40 years correspond to the time of the Kings and Prophets – then that period ceases and Israel finally gets to enter into the promise land under Yahushua Messiah.
Acts 7:20 In this time Moses was born, and was beautiful to יהוה , who was brought up three months in his father’s house. 21 And he being cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and reared him for a son to her. 22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and in deeds. 23 And when a period of forty years was fulfilled to him, it arose in his heart to look upon his brothers, the sons of Israel. 24 And seeing one being wronged, he defended him. and avenged him who was oppressed and struck the Egyptian. 25 For he thought his brothers would understand that God would give them deliverance by his hand. But they did not understand. 26 And the next day he appeared to them while fighting. And he urged them to peace, saying, Men, you are brothers, why do you wrong one another? 27 But he who wronged his neighbor thrust him away, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Will you not kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday?
This serves as a harbinger for Moshe’s actions later as he avenges and liberates Israel from their oppressors.
Moshe misinterpreted the mission, leaning on his flesh instead of the spirit, operating under a spirit of flesh and fear, he thought salvation and deliverance would come by his physical hand – fleshly actions! Also the prophetic future of Israel is revealed here too…..Israel rejects Moshe and wanted nothing to do with him, considering him more Egyptian than Hebrew and thus there enemy!
The ignorance of Israel, their lack of spiritual awareness is the hallmark of Stephens speech!
The man “pushed Moshe aside” thereby indicting himself and establishing another failure of Israel that carries through to Stephen’s speech. Has the church done the same thing? Does the church follow ancient Israel in the pushing aside/setting aside of Moshe thereby indicting themselves?
Israel is not just ignorant but rejects the very leaders whom יהוה sends to help them!
29 And Moses fled at this word, and became a temporary resident in the land of Midian, where he fathered two sons. 30 And forty years being fulfilled to him, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai in a flame of fire in a bush. 31 And seeing it, Moses marveled at the sight. And as he drew near to see, the voice of the Lord came to him: 32 saying, “I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” But Moses trembled and dared not look. 33 Then the Lord said to him, “Loosen the sandal on your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”34 “I have seen, the affliction of My people in Egypt, and I have heard their groan; and I came down to pluck them out. And now come, I will send you into Egypt.” 35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? God has sent this one to be a ruler and a redeemer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the Bush. 36 He brought them out after he had worked wonders and miracles in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the wilderness forty years. 37 This is that Moses who said to the sons of Israel, “The Lord your God shall raise up a Prophet to you from your brothers, One like me; you shall hear Him.”
BOC MOUNTAIN: Acts 7:38
A proposal
An agreement
A blood ratification
A Covenant confirming meal
This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him in Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received the living words to give to us.
GOLDEN CALF BREACH 7:39 to whom our fathers would not be obedient, but thrust him away and turned back again to Egypt in their hearts, 40 saying to Aaron, “Make us gods to go before us, for as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” 41 And they made a calf in those days and offered sacrifice to the idol and rejoiced in the work of their own hands. 42 Then God turned and gave them over to serve the host of the heavens, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: “O house of Israel, have you offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness?
ACTS 7:43 Yea, you took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, STAR OF RAMPHAN images which you made in order to worship them; and I will remove you beyond Babylon.”
BOL – GIVEN OVER TO THEIR EVIL WAYS:Gal.2:21 “…for if righteousness comes by the law (Book of the Law 3:10, Heb.7:11), then Moshiach died in vain.”
44 The tabernacle of witness was among our fathers in the wilderness, as commanded by God, speaking to Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen. 45 Which also having received it by inheritance with Joshua, our fathers, with Joshua, in taking possession of the nations whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David, 46 who found favor with God and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob; 47 but Solomon built Him a house.
TEMPLE NOT WITHOUT HANDS Act 7:48 But, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says, 49 “Heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool. What house will you build Me, says the Lord, or what is the place of My rest?Act 7:50 Has not My hand made all these things?”
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made in the law also. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. And it is still far more evident, since there arises another priest after the likeness of Melchizedek, Heb 7:16 who is made, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. For He testifies, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” 18 For truly there is a putting away of the commandment which went before, because of the weakness and unprofitableness of it. 19 For the Law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by which we draw near to God. Heb 7:20 And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath Heb 7:21 (for those priests were made without an oath, but this one was made with an oath by Him who said to Him, “The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek,”) Heb 7:22 by so much was Jesus made a surety of a better covenant. Heb 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not allowed to continue because of death;Heb 7:24 but He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Heb 7:25 Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them.
UNCIRCUMCISED OF HEART 7:51 O stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so you do. 52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you have now been the betrayers and murderers; 53 who received the Law through disposition of angels, and did not keep it. 54 And hearing these things, they were cut to their hearts. And they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, looking up intently into
Stephens death is the fulcrum event that will launch the fulfillment of the Great Commission – the first bookend of which the false prophet of Rev 19:20 is the last bookend of this prophecy!
ACTS 7:55 YAHUSHA STANDING:HEB 7:11 But Moshiach has now become a Kohen HaGadol of tov things to come, by a greater and more perfect Tent of Meeting, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation……He offered Himself without blemish to tvkt, purify your conscience from dead works (BoL) to serve the living tvkt? 15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the Brit Chadasha (not law), by means of His death, for the geulah of the sins that were done in the first brit,
ACTS 7:55 Heaven, he saw the glory of Elohim, and Yahusha standing at the right hand of Elohim. 56 And he said, Behold, I see Heaven opened and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God. 57 And crying out with a loud voice, they stopped their ears and ran on him with one accord. 58 And throwing him outside the city, they stoned him.
58 And the witnesses laid their clothes down at the feet of a young man named Saul.
Saul is described as a young man, probably around 18 years old at the time! Why doesn’t he throw a stone? Because according to Jewish law of the Sanhedrin he was too young being under 20 years old therefore he was watching over the tunics which would of held the money purses as he was there as an attendant to one of the members of the Sanhedrin – Gamaliel, rather than an official witness.
59 And they stoned Stephen, who was calling on God and saying,Master Yahusha , receive my spirit.60 And kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not lay this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
2 Cor 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remains is glorious (the Beresheeth 12 Covenanted Oath remained): 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is ‘a b o l i s h e d’: (Heb.10:1-10)
Heb 9:10 “…and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation
2 Cor 3:13 “…not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament.”
We live in a time that is Macrocosm of Acts 7 – This is a war of the witnesses!
