Hebrews 7:18 states, ‘For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.’ 

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being transferred, there is made of necessity a change also in the Torah.

We have to be careful today who we associate with because many have a selective Torah observance, void of the Book of the Covenant parameters that avoids the foundational ethical and moral imperatives of the Torah….no love…no compassion….no Ruach….no faith.

Galatins 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from an eved, even though he is master over all of them; 2 But is under guardians and stewards of the bayit until the time that has been set by his abba.

Shaul uses ‘emancipatio’ (emancipation) and ‘adoptio’ (adoption) language to portray the legal status of Israel as it relates to Covenant Torah.

It’s only once a time set forth by the Father, that the son, like Israel,  finds itself declared emancipated and adopted as a genuine heir in relation to Torah, heir to his fathers possession’s and now has a different legal status in regard to Torah, as an heir to the Covenants of Promise (Ephesians 2) just like Abraham.

It’s all Torah… but Yahusha changes your legal status, or you remain blind to your change of Status and interpret Torah as either:

1. Done away with, or…
2. The same as unregenerate Judaism. Both are have no better legal status than that of a household slave in relation to their legal status in Torah – no faith!

Galatians 4:3 Even so, when we were children, we were in slavery under the elements of the olam hazeh.

So both the Jews and those in the nations are all viewed equally as minors without proper legal status until they accept Messiah and attain covenant status….

If they don’t,  they’re all still under the elements of the world, whether Jewish or Roman.

Without Yahusha’s blood ratification there was no genuine claim to being heirs of Abraham’s promise….apart from faith even the physical descendants of Abraham are still minors in the household of יהוה.

Without Messiah, earth, water, air and fire, the basic elements of the world were looked upon by both Jews and Gentiles, though differently, to guide them in elementary forms of religion.

 Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, vuvh sent forth His Son,  made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law were until John.

Luke 16:16 For the law and the prophets were until John.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, YHWH sent forth His Son, made of a woman born under the law.

Yahusha was born under the BoL and kept it perfectly and taught others, like Moshe and the prophets before Him to do likewise.

2 Corinthians 3:11 ‘if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remains is glorious.’

Hebrews 9:10 ‘Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.’

Since the Golden Calf breach Israel was living in a condition of slavery, not that keeping Torah is slavery… heaven forbid!

But in their relationship to Torah!

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law (BoL) says, it speaks to those who are under the law (BoL), so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to יהוה. A reference to Jew and gentile alike!

Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, vuvh has sent forth the Ruach Hakodesh of His own Son into your levavot, crying, Abba, Abba. So then you are no longer an eved, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of vuvh through Moshiach. 

Galatians 4:8 Back then, when you knew not vuvh, you did service to those who by nature are not vuvh our tvkt. 9 But now, after that you have known vuvh, or rather are known by vuvh, how do you return again back to the weak and poor elementary matters, 3 to which you desire again to be in slavery? 

rses aren’t against the Sabbath’s and Feasts of יהוה ….heaven forbid! Shaul uses the Greek word ‘epistrepho’ which can mean ‘to return to a point where one has been, to turn around and go back.’

Under Roman law the Jew’s had received, ‘religio licita’ ‘the right to congregate, to carry on Jewish worship and collect money.’ 

Gentiles who neglected to perform such veneration were punished…..the Galatians were stuck between a rock and a hard place….with being tempted to return to the Imperial cult rather than face brutal punishment….or safe-harbor in the synagogues by submitting to proselyte conversion as interpreted through the Book of the Law….or safe harbor in the Imperial cult by becoming entangled again in the paganism from which they were delivered!

The imperial cult with its own calendar packed with days, months, seasons and years dedicated to the pantheon.

The ‘stoiceia’ the Galatians were returning back to were the pagan practices similar to those they’d left after receiving Yahusha!

Galatians 4:10 You shomer your own days, and moons, and times, and years. 11 I am concerned about you, lest I have labored among you for nothing.

Verse 11 NIV: ‘due to the return to Pharisaic legalism.’ This sloppy translation isn’t even historically valid!

Acts 13:6 And when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false navi, a Yahudi, whose name was Bar-Yeshua: 3

7 Who was with the deputy of the country, Sergeus Paulus, a wise man; who called for Bar-Nava and Shaul, and desired to hear the word of tvkt. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the emunah. 9 Then Shaul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Ruach Hakodesh, set his eyes on him,10 And said, O full of all deceit and all mischief, you child of the devil, you enemy of all tzedakah, will you not cease to pervert the right halachot of the Master vuvh?11 And now, see, the hand of the Master vuvh is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a

season.

 Galatians 4:12 Yisraelite brothers, put yourself in my place, just as once I put myself in your place. You have not offended me at all.

Galatians 4:13 You know how through weakness of the flesh I proclaimed the Besorah to you before. 14 And in my trial that was in my flesh you did not despise, or reject me; but received me as a malach of tvkt, even as Moshiach gauvh. 15 Where then are the brachot and rachamim you had towards me? For I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. 

Acts 14:19 And there came certain unbelieving Yahudim from Antioch and

Ikoniom, who persuaded the people to turn against the shlichim, and,

having stoned Shaul, drew him out of the city, thinking he was dead.

Galatians 6:17 From now on let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body

the marks of the Master Yeshua.

2 Cor 11:24 From the unbelieving Yahudim five times I received thirty-nine

stripes. 25 Three times was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, three

times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

Galutyah (Galatians) 4:15…For I bear you witness that, if possible, you

would have plucked out your own eyes and given them to me.

The Galatians loved Rav Shaul to even give their eyes to him. Rav Shaul had extensive

damage to his eyes causing him to see with difficulty.

He was unable to see properly after this stoning. The object of stoning is usually head

and body.

Galatians 6:11 You see how large a letter I have written to you with my

own handwriting.

Quite clearly He was blinded by the throwing of stones and spurting of his blood had

made Him very weak, stoning caused a wounding in the face.

The words of Mark 12:4 echo this: Again he sent them another servant, and at him they threw stones, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully

treated.

Shaul bore the marks of Messiah, the ‘stripes’, ‘Khabooraw’ which means ‘blows that cut in.’ Like ‘blows’ from sharp flint that would ‘cut in.’(Immediately it caused a weal or marking on skin). What cuts in as each stone lands it cuts into the flesh and blood starts to spurt out so that is why we have Shaul’s thorn in the flesh, he was somewhat blinded.

Galatians 4:16 Have I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the emet? 17 They do not desire tov for you, but they desire to dominate you and exclude you from Yisrael that your desire may be to serve them.

Galatians 4:18 But it is tov to always desire pleasant things, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My little children, of whom I am again in birth pains until the Moshiach be formed in you again, 20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my tone; but now I stand in doubt of you.

V.21 – The infamous Sarah and Hagar allegory.

Galatians 4:21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the Bol/law; do you not listen to  the Torah? 22 For it is written, that Avraham had two sons, the one by a female eved, the other by a free woman.  

23 But he who was from the female eved was born after the flesh; but he from the free woman was by  promise.  (Law division – Book of the Law was born after and is fleshly)

24 Which things are allegories: for these are the two covenants; the one from Har Senai, that brings forth slavery, which is Hagar.

25 For this Hagar is Har Senai in Arabia, and corresponds to Yahrushalayim that now exists, and is in slavery with her children. 

(Paul states this is a allegory about two COVENANTS, one is from Mt Sinai (Exodus 24:12) and is fleshly and brings you into bondage and was the present state of Jerusalem in Paul’s day)

26 But the Yahrushalayim that is above is free, which is the eema of us all.(Book of the Covenant is free because it’s heavenly Malki-Tzedik – Hebrews 12:22, ‘but you have come to Mt Zion the city of the living Elohim, the heavenly Jerusalem. to an innumerable company of angels, to the gathering and called out assembly of the firstborn.’ Hebrews 12:22 us summarizing the Malki-Tzedik reality of Exodus 19:5. Also see Ephesians 2:12-22 )  

27 For it is written, Gilah, you barren that did not bear; break forth and shout for simcha, you that did not have labor: for the barren and deserted one has many more children  than she who has had a husband.  

28 Now we, Yisraelite brothers, are like Yitzchak was; 8 we are the children of promise (Covenants of promise).

29 But as it was then, he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Ruach Hakodesh, even so, it is now (the corrupt  Hasmonian temple system flaunting the BoL was persecuting the Eliazer – Zadokites and the BoC followers of Yeshua)  

30 Nevertheless what does the Katuv tell us to do? Cast out the female eved and her son: for the son of the female eved shall not be heir with the son of the free woman. (The Prophets Ezekiel and Jeremiah tell us to cast off the Book of the Law, for those following the Book of the Law shall not be heirs with Yeshua the son of heaven)

31 So then, Yisraelite brothers, we are not children of the female eved, (Book of the Law) but of the free woman (Book of the Covenant).
