Zephaniah, a negro Israelite, a son of Kush. Tsephanyâhû = יהוה hides. Zephaniah’s father was named “Cushi,” and “Cushi” as an adjective that means “black” in both Hebrew and Greek. “Cushi” is an affectionate term for a negro of Ethiopian origin, derived from the biblical land of Cush. The 'regal negro' connection from the house of Judah and Yahusha Himself. Black 'Africans'- truthfully 'Judahites' have contributed hugely to the total development of ancient Israel in a way that modern history buries -Zephaniah was thus of royal descent, a regal negro who's end time message will break through onto today's scene to cut through the divide that the globalists have tried to construct.
The word of יהוה which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith יהוה . I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith יהוה. Zep 1:4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests; Zep 1:5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by יהוה , and that swear by Malcham. Zep 1:6 And them that are turned back from יהוה; and those that have not sought יהוה , nor enquired for him.Zep 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Master יהוה : for the day of יהוה is at hand: for יהוה hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. Zep 1:8 And it shall come to pass in the day of YHWH’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. Zep 1:9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit. Zep 1:10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith יהוה , that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.

The prophetic mantle upon Zephanyah spanned the reign of King Josiah 640-609 BCE. The last voice of a prophet that Israel had heard was the voice of the prophet Isaiah (701 BCE).
Great Babylon is going to be remembered before יהוה to give her the fierceness of the cup of wrath…islands, mountains and hail from heaven.
This is a prophecy of the last kingdom made of Iron(Tech) and Clay(Flesh)
that will be crushed by Messiah himself.

Zephanyah announces a prophecy of general extermination…..a prophecy that most bible commentators avoid or try to soften and diminish in light of the gospel of Christ.
YHWH’s wrath burning up a creation gone wrong. It’s like the prophet Jeremiah’s vision; a vision of יהוהs act of Creation reversed, everything is to be destroyed, human being and beast and bird and fish…man has opened the portal to hell and unleashed a fury that he can’t comprehend.
Zephanyah is giving us a parallel vision to Exo 20:4 and Rom 1:18.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
The sinfulness of human beings has drug down nature itself to participate in the sin and subsequent judgment – singularity. transhumanism, human augmentation, biohacking, bioethics, and the cyborg culture.
For the wrath of יהוה is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
Gen 3: cursed is the ground for thy sake…..Jer 12:4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end…..Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of יהוה.
We move from the global to the national as verse 4 shifts to Judah and Jerusalem, these are the very people that survived the fall of Northern Kingdom to Assyria in 722 BCE and because they survived they believed they were exempt from YHWH’s judgment that will encompass the whole earth:
Amos 3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

Judgment comes…the kind of prophetic judgment Zepahanyah prophecies:
1 Ki 11.33 Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
2 Ki 23:13 And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
Zeph 1:4 I will also stretch out My hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Ba’al from this place, and the name of the leading priests of idolatry with the priests; 5 And them that worship the host of the heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by vuvh, and that swear by Malcham at the same time! He’s going to ‘fill their places with the bones of men’.
